Welcome to the website of the Psychosomatic Leadership Institute®, operated by Psychosomatic Leadership Institute Pty Ltd (“Institute”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of psychosomaticleadership.org (“Website”) and the content, information, publications, resources, assessments, programs and services made available through it.
By accessing or using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or specific terms applicable to particular programs or services.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Website.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when published on this Website unless otherwise stated.
About the Institute and Website
The Psychosomatic Leadership Institute® advances Psychosomatic Leadership® as an emerging leadership discipline and develops frameworks, research, assessment, education and professional standards relating to Psychosomatic Intelligence®.
The Website provides information about the Institute and may include publications, research, educational resources, PIQ® assessment information, organisational leadership development, professional accreditation, certification, events, keynotes, workshops and related services.
Information published on the Website is provided primarily for educational and informational purposes.
Nothing on this Website constitutes an unconditional offer to provide any particular service, assessment, accreditation or certification. Services and programs may be subject to eligibility requirements, availability, professional discretion and separate agreements or program terms.
No Professional Relationship
Accessing this Website, reading publications, subscribing to communications, downloading resources, submitting an enquiry, attending an event or communicating with the Institute does not by itself establish a consultant–client, coach–client, practitioner–client, advisory, fiduciary or other professional relationship.
A professional or contractual relationship arises only where the Institute has expressly agreed to provide services and, where applicable, the parties have entered into the relevant agreement, enrolment, assessment, accreditation or other written arrangement.
Website content should not be treated as personalised leadership, psychological, medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, all content made available through this Website is owned by or licensed to the Psychosomatic Leadership Institute® and/or Psychosomatic Leadership Institute Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
This includes, without limitation:

- Psychosomatic Intelligence®
- PIQ®
- assessment methodologies, instruments, questions, scoring systems and reports;
- methodologies, models, frameworks and protocols;
- accreditation and certification standards;
- curricula, training and educational materials;
- publications, articles and research materials;
- presentations, workshops and facilitator materials;
- diagrams, graphics, designs, logos and credential badges;
- videos, audio recordings and digital resources;
- trademarks, service marks and branding; and
- adaptations, updates, derivative materials and future developments relating to the Institute’s intellectual property.
Publication of information about a methodology, assessment, framework or program does not place that intellectual property in the public domain and does not grant any right to reproduce, teach, administer, commercialise or create derivative works from it.
Nothing on this Website grants any licence, assignment or other intellectual property right except where expressly stated in writing.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Permitted Use
The Institute grants visitors a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access the Website for lawful personal, educational and informational purposes.
You may view Website content, print or download individual publicly available pages for personal non-commercial reference, and share links to publicly available Institute content with appropriate attribution.

Accreditation, Certification and Professional Credentials
The Institute may award professional accreditation, certification, digital credentials or badges to individuals who satisfy applicable program requirements.
Awarding a credential does not transfer ownership of the Institute’s intellectual property to the credential holder.
Accredited or certified individuals receive only those rights expressly granted under the applicable accreditation, certification, licence or program agreement.
Unless specifically authorised in writing, accreditation or certification does not grant an individual or organisation the right to:
- represent themselves as the Psychosomatic Leadership Institute®;
- represent themselves as an employee, agent or authorised representative of the Institute;
- sublicense Institute intellectual property;
- create or issue Institute credentials;
- modify Institute assessment tools or methodologies;
- develop derivative assessments based upon PIQ®;
- reproduce or distribute proprietary training materials;
- represent independently developed services as Institute programs; or
- imply that the Institute endorses services beyond the scope of the credential awarded.
The Institute may establish separate standards governing the use, maintenance, renewal, suspension or withdrawal of professional credentials.
Where those standards or a separate accreditation agreement apply, they form additional terms governing the credential holder’s use of Institute intellectual property.
Credential and Badge Use
Institute accreditation and certification badges remain intellectual property of the Institute.
A valid credential holder may display the badge awarded to them on professional profiles, websites, biographies, proposals, email signatures and similar professional materials, subject to applicable credential-use standards.
Badges must not be altered, recoloured, distorted, incorporated into another logo or used in a manner that suggests a different or higher credential than the individual actually holds.
A credential may only be represented as current while the individual satisfies any applicable requirements for maintaining that credential.
The Institute reserves the right to require removal of a badge or credential representation where accreditation or certification has expired, been suspended, withdrawn or used contrary to applicable terms.
PIQ® Assessment
PIQ® and its associated methodology, assessment content, scoring, interpretation frameworks, reports and supporting materials constitute proprietary intellectual property.
Access to information about PIQ® does not confer any right to administer, reproduce, reverse engineer, adapt, replicate or commercially use the assessment.
Only persons or organisations expressly authorised by the Institute may administer, interpret or commercially use PIQ® within the scope of their authorisation.
PIQ® results are intended to support leadership development and related educational or organisational applications within the scope specified by the Institute.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, PIQ® is not a medical or psychological diagnostic instrument and should not be represented or used as such.
Artificial Intelligence, Automated Access and Website Misuse
To protect the Institute’s intellectual property, you must not use automated technologies to systematically access, extract, reproduce or analyse Website Content without prior written authorisation.
Without limitation, you must not:
- scrape Website Content using bots, crawlers or automated extraction technologies;
- create datasets or databases containing Institute Content;
- use Institute Content to train, fine-tune or develop artificial intelligence or machine-learning models;
- use generative AI or automated systems to reconstruct or replicate proprietary Institute methodologies, assessments or educational materials;
- reverse engineer PIQ® or other proprietary frameworks;
- circumvent technological measures designed to protect Institute Content; or
- interfere with the security, functionality or availability of the Website.
The Institute may restrict or terminate access where activity is reasonably believed to infringe intellectual property rights, compromise Website security or breach these Terms.
Educational and Research Content
Articles, publications, research commentary, newsletters, presentations, webinars and other educational materials are provided for general informational and educational purposes.
The Institute makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information but does not warrant that all Website Content is complete, error-free or appropriate for every circumstance.
Research and professional knowledge evolve over time. Content may therefore be updated, revised or withdrawn.

Specific engagements may be governed by proposals, statements of work, enrolment conditions, accreditation agreements, licensing terms or other separate contracts.
Where separate terms apply to a service or program, those terms will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency relating specifically to that service or program.
Participation in a program, assessment or professional development activity does not guarantee any particular leadership, commercial, career, wellbeing or organisational outcome.
No Warranties
The Website and its Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Institute makes no representation or warranty regarding the continuous availability, completeness, accuracy, reliability, security or suitability of the Website or its Content for any particular purpose.
The Institute does not warrant that the Website will operate uninterrupted, that all errors will be corrected, or that the Website or its servers will always be free from harmful components or unauthorised interference.

This provision survives termination of your use of the Website.

Separate agreements may apply to particular assessments, organisational engagements, accreditation programs, certification programs or licensed uses of Institute intellectual property.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, credentials, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination where their nature requires them to do so.

The Institute may update these Terms to reflect changes to legislation, Website functionality, Institute programs, professional standards or business operations.
